The Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club (RREC) is the International Club for Rolls-Royce and Bentley Enthusiasts, and this month we have been lucky enough to be once again invited to speak to members at one of the informative Seminar weekends at the RREC HQ. The Hunt House is set in the picturesque Northamptonshire village of Paulerspury, The setting provides a rich historical context for showcasing what many consider to be the epitome of automotive excellence, often dubbed as the "Best Car in the World."
The weekend at the RREC was characterised by a high level of enthusiasm, especially during day one of the 'Post-War Six Cylinder Models Seminar' where visitors had the opportunity to engage in practical car activities led by Daniel Moore & Co.
The Hunt House car park was full of stunning Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars, and there was a warm welcome for guests and industry experts alike.

For the second consecutive year, we conducted an educational session that we hope offered valuable insight. Our team discussed several recent projects, explaining our methods and approach to showcase the depth of our expertise.
It was delightful to witness Greg discussing his creations with a wealth of enthusiasm, captivating the audience and sparking a lively exchange of questions, as well as a significant number of business cards being shared.

One of our highlights of the weekend was sharing our success from this year’s Salon Privé at Blenheim Palace. It wasn’t a Rolls or a Bentley that won us an award though, but an absolute stunner, none-the-less…
The Cord 812 Supercharged convertible interior and restoration we completed alongside Rolls Royce and Bentley Specialists Daniel Moore & Co, came in 2nd place, behind a world-class Isotta Fraschini at Blenheim Palace.
‘This is an exceptionally high bar and for us’, says Operations Director, Glenn Ward. ‘But it's a great recognition for all the hard work our team did over the last two years.’
The Cord restoration and retrimming included a full Connolly Leather interior, new carpeting, and a bespoke hood.

Another highlight for us at the RREC event was to be joined this year by another Cambridgeshire artisan and collaborator, Thomas Neale, the owner of Fine Wooden Boats Ltd. Thomas is renowned for creating stunning handcrafted boats and cabinetry, featuring exquisite inlaid designs, but also excels in the restoration of woodwork in classic cars like Rolls Royce and Bentley for clients in the UK and beyond.
It was a lively and interesting weekend and with RREC members travelling from as far as Scotland, Belgium, and the Netherlands to attend, and one car - a 1954 Bentley R Type – having even travelled from Norway, via Barcelona, to The Hunt House ‘Post-War Six Cylinder Models Seminar’ Evidence that the brand has endured over time is clear. The RREC emphasizes that it caters to enthusiasts, not just owners, as demonstrated by its global membership of individuals who deeply appreciate the brand's esteemed legacy.
See you next time RREC – it was a blast!
